Is there another method to assign an aux pedal to toggle between the internal foot switch functions FS1-3 and FS4-6? Or is it the idea that you can tap with your foot on the select and perform and select knob if you want to toggle?
There is no assignment for toggling between pages of Perform mode. You are correct, users need to step on the Peform knob to switch pages.

As long as you use the same pressure you would use for any normal footswitch, they can handle it.
