Hello –
Sorry to hear you’re having this problem.
Here are some questions to help us diagnose what is happening with your system:
– are your synths using the same size MIDI jack for input (3.5 mm stereo, which is in use with many eurorack units, as opposed the earlier standard, the 5 pin DIN connector)? Or are you sending to synths which accept the larger 5 pin DIN, in which case I am assume you are using the “Type A” 3.5 mm to 5 pin DIN converter cable supplied with Misha. Let us know which it is. Just to explain: there are two flavors of these 3.5 mm to 5 pin DIN converter cables: “Type A” and “Type B”. If you are using Type B you won’t get MIDI out of Misha. In any case, please describe the connections you have tried, for example: Misha MIDI Out to 3.5 mm -> 5 pin DIN converter cable -> 5 pin DIN Midi cable -> Moog Prodigy MIDI In, etc.
– if possible, can you send the MIDI output of Misha into a computer where you can see the bytes coming out (if any)? On a Mac you can use the freeware program “MIDI Monitor”, and Ableton for example has a MIDI Monitor device, etc. Doing this will help us determine if the problem is Misha or your receiving synths (though if you’ve tried 6 it seems unlikely to be a problem on the receiving side)
Thanks
