Hi Blackstrat83,
A few things to try. If you put the MXR before your H90 and you bypass the H90, does it sound like normal?
Are your H90 I/O operating levels set to the default of instrument level, or have they been changed to line level for any reason?
The sound was very subtle and parameters wasn’t working when moving knobs.
Here, are you referring to the H90 parameters or the MXR controls? Keep in mind if you have a delay/slap back effect going into the H90, your feeding the H90 a processed signal. This means both Eventide presets will process your dry plus whatever amount of delay you got going on at the same time.
Suggestion: place the MXR on the insert loop of the H90 using I/O 3. On the H90 in the Routing menu, create Insert 1 and put it first in your effects chain. Connect your guitar directly to the H90, not the MXR. Now you would be feeding a complete dry signal to the H90 and you would have the option of moving the insert (MXR) anywhere in the chain – before both Eventide effects, in between, or after. Typically, any time-based effects like delay works better later in the chain.
Here’s a video explaining how to use inserts: https://youtu.be/5y14LwN9oAk?t=1889&si=V8APCVYP7fQo4bos
