Interesting thought.  I’ve never tried to emulate that engine exactly.  I do see several ways to approach that in the H90.  I’d start with two Presets in a Parallel Routing.  Program Mix at 50; Preset A & B Mixes at 100.

For the ‘main’ forward delay in Preset  A, you could use most any delay algorithm.  Maybe Tape Echo, Bouquet, or Vintage Delay for more of a lo-fi feel.  Delay time to taste, with a couple of fading repeats.

The obvious choice for the climbing cascade would be Crystals at octaves up for Preset B .  Perhaps offset the reverse delays from those in Preset A, then fold in some Feedback A & B.  A touch of Reverb Mix / Decay for diffusion will enhance legato playing.

Despite a more convoluted setup, I might first try Shimmer as Preset B, using Delay & Pitch Decay as the ‘decaying delay’.  Finer control over the ‘wash’, and alternatives for freezing the ice solid.

There are other options that have some potential:

    • Reverse Reverb in Series Routing with Polyphony
    • H910 / H949 in Series Routing with Reverse (delay)
    • Ducked Delay in Series Routing with Prism Shift

Each variation is going to have its own ‘charm’ and complement of controls.  You just may discover a combination you like even better than the original.  When I can, I’ll see what I can come up with on this end.  If it’s anything decent, I’ll toss it up on PatchStorage.
