OK, thanks. I think I really want the explicit activate and bypass funtions, so it looks like I can assign CC 0 ONLY to activate, then use CC 0 with a value =/> 64 to set it to active, then CC 0 with a value =/> 63 to set it to bypass. And I will leave Bypass and Toggle with NO MIDI CC mapping. Does that sound right? I really appreciate your sticking with me on this. Thank you.
