Pretty exciting stuff!! Thank you for your answer, I’m gonna dive a bit more in other algorithms and yeah I guess I should just try it hands on!
Didn’t think of hotswith mapping and this gives ideas! I’m a heavy user of Empress Zoia and there should be many ways to expand custimisation with midi. I could set sequencer on the Zoia sending midi info to the panning parameter on H90 or completely randomize it.
By “being able to turn pitch tracking on and off” I was refering to the pitch tracking feature in the Quadravox vst, this is what it does:
“This is used to turn off the pitch detection entirely when using
Quadravox on non-pitched or polyphonic instruments. By turn-
ing off Pitch Tracking, the plug-in will act as though the incom-
ing pitch is always the root note of the scale. This allows the
plug-ins to be used on drum tracks and many other types of
instruments.”
I was looking to replicate the Octavox vst with pitch tracking off and delays set at equal distances to create custom sequences up to 8 notes. With two Quadravox set in parrallel on the H90 it seemed possible but only with pitch tracking “on”.
User scales would indeed be absolutly awesome but maybe each scale need to be optimized and letting users craft their own would lower the quality of harmonizing and note priority ? I don’t know.
