Thank you for the detailed  response.   That was very helpful.

i am currently programming wah programs and I am conflicted over whether or not I should assign multiple secondary parameters to the expression pedal along with the manual Parameter.    I seem to simply water down the effect.   I tried under clean amp and germanium fuzzface conditions with the amp at the point of breakup (using a pedal).    I do like the H90 wah from qwah more than my RMC 3 I have used for years.   That’s saying a lot.  Do you have any suggestions  for programming a vintage style wah with secondary parameters and why they are used.  I am not only concerned with replicating a vintage wah but using that sound as a basis to simply make a great sounding wah program that’s dynamic and organic feeling in regard to how it feels under control of your foot     There is one aspect of the.RMC wah I can’t  figure out at all which is a sharp attack style modulation “at the end/tip of the resonant peak, q).    I never really noticed the non static interactions thatt were going on as the pedal rocks down before until now.

These interactions and their variability from pedal to pedal does explain a subtle difference in the sweep of my wah after I had the  entire circuit board repopulated after Mr Teese could not  eliminate a noise problem I was having at one point.   After being rebuilt with the same RMC 3 spec components the Wah was virtually the same but I noticed a new “swirl” style modulation in the sweep.   Hard to describe but I could hear the difference between the builds after having the wah since around 2006.   Anyway, my recent readings of the nonstatic interactions that can occur in these circuits explained what I was hearing.A little off topic but related and interesting.

I think the most helpful thing I can do is to assign a hot switch to toggling a wah with only manual under expression pedal control and adding the secondary parameters such as slight sweeps in Q and depth at points during the sweep?   That would be very helpful.   I know the hot switch can assign or change multiple parameter settings but can it activate the state where they have a range  under expression pedal control?    That would be great.   I tried last night quickly at the end of my playing session and couldn’t get it to work but I’m new to programming hot switches.  Still early in the learning curve of the H90 but making progress

    Thank you again.
