Sorry to hear you are having issues. I’m unfamiliar with the SoftStep programming, but you’ll need it to send a High CC value when the switch is pressed, followed by a Low CC value when the switch is released.
Can you try mapping your CC to another action like Momentary active and let me know if that works correctly?
