Late to this thread but I’m using the same setup.
Originally got the H90 and then the QC, thinking MAYBE I wouldn’t need to keep the H90. Well, after placing the H90 in the stereo loop of the QC, I really can’t see myself not using both.
The QC effects are absolutely great. But the “Eventide flavor” that the H90 provides is beyond anything imaginable.
I have the H90 loop sitting after the QC delays. That said, I uncovered something stellar with the shimmer reverbs on both units. Hopefully I’ll explain this correctly…
Create a split path on QC where you have a shimmer on each side running parallel. One side has, say, a +24c pitch and the other a +12c pitch.
After those, set the H90 shimmer to maybe a +500 and a -500. This creates a beautiful harmony with the QC signal akin to Whitesnake’s “Love Ain’t No Stranger.” Kinda floored me when I did this today.
