Sorry I’m not familiar with using the IRX. When loading different presets/programs, you are dealing with PC (Program Change) messages, not CC (Continuous Controller) messages. When you load a Program on the H90, it send out a PC message. There is nothing further to setup on the H90 besides what you have done already. If you are still having issues you’ll need to contact Friedman for assistance with the IRX.
MIDI USB will not work for that controller. I’m not sure what you mean by P2 inputs. MIDI TRS is most likely the only way to use that controller with an H90.
