I am having only *partial* success mapping midi commands (from Morningstar MC6 Pro) to H90 Looper.
Looper is in A; B = Bypass.
Perform page 3 shows 3 actions associated with each H90 switch: Record, Play, Stop (Long = Erase).
I hold down the LED above P switch on the H90, set to an arbitrary midi CC (in this case #30).
Hold down LED above A, set to CC# 31.
For B, set to CC# 32.
Save.
Note: the looper works as advertised when using the buttons on the H90.
But when I program the MC6:
- I set one switch on MC6 to send CC# 30 to H90 (on appropriate channel). Good news: when I hit this on the MC6, H90 records. Yeah!
- I set a different switch on MC6 to send CC# 31 to H90; when I hit it after recording, H90 plays loop. Yeah!
- HERE’S THE PROBLEM: I set a different switch on MC6 to send CC# 32 to H90; when I hit it during playback, NOTHING HAPPENS. H90 continues to play. I tried re-assigning the CC# to a diff value (in case H90 doesn’t like the number 32?!?), same outcome: Stop doesn’t work from MC6 but play and record do?!?!
Any guidance would be appreciated.
