This just happened to me and I got it fixed. The issue for me was there is no option to install it to your custom vst3 folder. it installed the plugin to a default location • c:\Program Files\Common\VST3\Newfangled Audio\<Plug-In Name>.vst3

move the vst file to your custom folder and rescan.
