Wondering what algorithm to use for emulation of the HM80 with the H90
H910/H949 seems like an obvious choice, but the reverse stuff maybe Crystals?
The channel w the example sounds has a couple other videos

910 / 949
The HM80 was originally marketed as the “touring musicians” studio effects box and appeared on advertisements alongside the 910 and 949. Great sounds abound.

Interesting question, I’d be curious to hear from Eventide’s experts!

I missed this one on the first go-round. Yes, that is certainly an interesting device to try & emulate accurately, especially given the components used for the original. It might be easier to pull off in the Rose. Fortunately, we have that classic-style manual for reference, and insider info from Flashback #6: HM80 — The Baby Harmonizer®. (Scroll to the bottom for a poll to reissue the HM80).
So, yes, the H910 H949 algorithm. Splice Type H949-2 or maybe H910. Pitch Ctl Normal. Part of me wants to lean into the HarModulator instead, but we’ll see about that. Dialed off to one side of Pitch Mix, but ‘doubling up’ parameters on both of the A & B sides may also work out. Limit the Delay time(s) to 270-300 mS.
Then lock together your parameters-of-choice (Pitch / Delay / Feedback) to a HotKnob. If you have an expression pedal or two, that can cover one or more of these categories. IIRC, the REPEAT option is momentary here, not the HM80 latch.
All of this from half-memory (away from my rig), so I’m undecided on how to approach the reverse feature just yet. Crystals or Reverse? Could Reverse Reverb have advantages? Series, in front or in back of, the H910 H949? Perhaps in Parallel to it, but in any case, quickly crossfaded between H910 / H949 ‘forward’ and Reverse / Crystals ‘time reversal’. I see a HotSwitch mapping as ideal for this toggling.
… this mode is most effective with signals which have significant changes during the processing period, equal to the
maximum delay …So, lock in the ‘time reversal’ Delay time(s) to 270 mS as well. Delay times for both algorithms might benefit from mapping to the [P] HotKnob. I see some more quirks in the Feedback & Output controls that need to be addressed, but it’s a starting point. I guess it beats spending $2500-3000 for a ‘previously owned’ piece of vintage hardware history.

I’m currently away from my H90, if someone here is giving this a try and is willing to share some presets, that’d be cool.
Also for Rose, in case (it’s a fantastic pedal and quite underrated in my opinion)
