Hello,
I’m getting the following error when trying to download the latest update. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you.
Firmware Update Error
Download of ‘h90-1.12.5.pak’ failed with status: 404
OK

I’m getting that same error trying to download/install the update.
When I initially clicked Download it appeared to download in just a second or two. Now I no longer have the option to Download, only Install, and when clicking install I also get that same error.
Running 1.9.13 of H90 Control and firmware 1.11.4.24.

To add, I checked the below path:
AppData\Roaming\Eventide\H90 Control\Firmware
The .pak file (h90-1.12.5.pak) is only 1kb in size. This might be an issue on Eventide’s end.

Same here. On Mac OS X. H90 Control fails to download the .pak. Disappointing as I’ve just taken my H90 out of the box and wanted to get it up to spec before trying it out. Guess I’ll have to wait for the new algorithms to actually be available.

Update is still broken. 404 error when I attempt to install the latest firmware. I wish we didn’t have to deal with firmware servers…just one more link in an increasingly fragile chain of online service “middlemen”.

Same 404 (Not Found) for the .pak file issue for me on both Windows and Mac. Also noted the file size is next to nothing, so it hasn’t downloaded. The .os file appears to download just fine.

also getting this – tried to do the manual update via recovery mode and have effectively now bricked the machine with “factory content not found” displaying on the h90….

Here to +1 to the same issue happening to me on both Windows and Mac. My brand new H90 is on 1.7.5, so it’s quite a bit behind.

Same issue on M1 Macbook Pro running Tahoe and also tried via 2017 iMac running High Sierra. Have tried workarounds, including factory reset + recovery mode.

A 404 error means the file doesn’t exist on their web server at the location it attempted to download from. They either need to put the missing file there or give it the correct name/path. A problem Eventide needs to fix on their end.

Same Here.
Since I got the H90, I’ve never been able to successfully perform an update on macOS. I don’t find that very professional. -

Hi all,
Sorry for the update issues. We found there was an issue with the server to download the update files and we’ve just fixed that.
Please follow the instructions for a Recovery Mode update and that should do it: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.12.5/content/appendix/startup.html#recovery-mode

when downloading the update to the newly purchased eventide h90, the h90-1-12.5.os eventide file is not downloaded what should I do? The methods mentioned above do not work. Is it possible to simply download these files from somewhere and transfer them through a computer without using the app? Please help!

Yes, I used the recovery feature, as well as factory reset, but it didn’t help.
