I’m using one of the new poly algorithms to freeze a sound and then running it through the black hole algorithm to create pads. When I engage the freeze it gradually reduces in volume over time. Is there a parameter I can adjust so that it stays the same volume as when I initially engage it?

Detune doesn’t help. I suppose you could kick in Blackhole’s own Freeze ibefore Poly(x) it starts to drift.

FYI, in a different thread on the same topic, Eventide replied “We are looking into changing this so you can freeze the sound indefinitely, but I can’t provide a timeline for that.”

Can you please be more specific about the issue you are having?
When using Polyphony, there is a Freeze Performance Parameter that can latch on/off using the footswitches. This Freeze effect should not reduce in volume over time. I just froze a sound and left it frozen for 30 minutes without any change in volume. Are you experiencing something different?
Blackhole has the option to Freeze the reverb when you turn the decay parameter up, but this will gradually fade out.

Yes, my apologies for being vague. I have included a screenshot of my parameters. I will play a chord and freeze it, but the volume will decay below the level of my initial input. I would like for it to stay consistent to play pads.

Thanks for sharing this. The Freeze on PrismShift only freezes the low/high voices. Try turning the gain up for those voices and turning the gain down for the middle voice. You can also try to adjust the balance further using the mix and output gain controls. https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.7.5/content/algorithms/pitch.html#prism-shift
