I haven’t found a ‘Whammy Pedal’ pitch shifter, an effect like David Gilmour uses on “The Blue” or “Marooned”. Has anyone found one in the H 90?  I know I’d need an expression pedal to make that work, but I’ve got one! Thanks ~BenG

Many, many ways to do this in the the H90, @BenG.  The easiest to set up might be PolyFlex.

Map your expression pedal to Manual Flex, with the Shift value at Unison & Flex at one or two octaves up.  There are two pitch shifters, so you can use either one, or both configured in a similar way.

Got that set up Brock, thanks! To my ears, the effected sound is a more brittle/ice pick than I’d have preferred, but that is kind of the nature of the effect, I suppose. I appreciate your help; your level of understanding this unit is such a great resource that you share freely here. Again, a heartfelt thanks! ~BG

You might want to try Polyphony as an alternative.  Map the Shift intervals manually to expression, between unison & an octave or two up.  The Auto EQ parameter can help smooth out the top end.

In fact, ‘though the ‘recommended’ setting is at 10, sometimes I’ll map a range of Auto EQ alongside the pitch shifts.  Another thing to try is the Inst Type toggle.  Again, the recommended value for large pitch shifts would be Pitched.  But I often prefer the results that a Percussive setting brings, especially with an instrument with a hard attack.
