Hello, I have an Eventide H9. Software updated – 4.4.6(1)

I need to use H9 as a midiclock source, and it seems impossible.

No matter how I configure midi settings, no signal comes out from the "midi out" port.

      Midi output mode= Transmit

      Midi cable= tested, working ok

Other devices tested when receiving midiclock from other sources. Working ok.

Using a Midi Monitor software, no signal comes from H9. No midi controller signal, no clock signal, no system exclusive messages. NOTHING. Software tested with other devices, working ok.

H9's midi-in and midi-out ports working perfectly when receiving midi signal and re-transmitting it cia midi thru, so it's not a physical problem.

Both H9's manual and Eventide's site says that you can use H9 as a midi clock source.

So, is it true? Can I use it as a midi clock source? Indifferent

You can use it as a MIDIclock source, Look at User Manual p.42 – as well as MIDI/OUTPUT=XMT you need to set MIDI/CLK.OUT to ON.
