Does the H9 use standard mono unbalanced jacks, and can they be switched between line and instrument / amp levels? Like the other factor pedals?

Yes to the first, no to the second.
The H9 has slightly higher dynamic range than a 'Factor, and also has an input gain control for low output instruments.

Hi
Does this mean it has newer/different A/D & D/A convertors?

I was plagued by noise issues on my Timefactor due to the guitar input signal being too low versus the noise floor. Does the adjustable input level on he H9 take care of this?
My previous experience with the timefactor noise issues left me scarred (imagine a great sounding delay thats too noisy), so im keen to get the H9 if the input gain problem is solved.
can Eventide confirm please?

Yes, it should help. We added the input gain feature specifically to work better with guitars with low level outputs.
