H9 Max input gain setting gone

Dear fellow H9 users!

Just bought a new H9 Max. I’m using it in the FX loop of my Neural DSP quadcortex.
I would like to lower the global input gain so I do not have to lower the FX send on my quadcortex each time a new FX block is inserted.

The manual states the following line:

“NOTE: The [INGAIN] feature is only available on units with serial number below
51000.”

My devices serial number is above 52000.
I’m more than surprised that obviously, this feature has been removed from the hardware.

Does anyone know why this is the case and how we are supposed to set the input level on those newer H9 hardware revisions?

Hi Case,

sorry for late reply, was on vacation. 🙂 Ok, let’s see, if someone might enlighten us.

What I did in the meantime was to save the global output setting of the Quadcortex FX send to a value that works for me so not every preset needs to be readjusted.

For the moment I worked out something similair.

Checked and saved levels where appropriate.

I just bought an H9, and have same question.

The serial number is above 51000.

Disappointed that this was removed, as I need a little input boost in my pedal chain.

Hoping for an update where the input levels can be adjusted again.

Any Eventide able to provide info on this?
