H90 : Band Delays & H949/910

It was my understanding that the H90 had full featured algorithms but this isn’t the case for at least these two. Are there plans for full featured versions?

The band delay is only one filter while H3000 Band Delay was like 8. This is kind of multi band filter is super unique, I’ve never come across anything like it. I was really hoping to have this in the H90.

Sorry for the confusion. The Band Delays and H949/910 algorithms on the H90 were ported from the H9. You can accomplish many things with either of these effects, but the amount of parameters is limited to be more stompbox friendly.

The H90 is better suited for more parameters so we may consider releasing fully featured versions of these algorithms.

What parameters/features exactly would you be looking for?

Thank you, I’ve have secret sauce that involves the full 8 voice band delays, sweeping the filters with the bpm. It plays a big part of my sound & I believe the fx is something of undiscovered gem.

If I have one criticism of the H90 is that is primarily geared towards guitarists (& I understand that).

I can get around the H949 by using Microshift but if I was really hoping to have the full featured band delays. Of course, H3000 factory would also be very welcome as it does some things that I have a hard time doing with the existing algorithms.

longtime h3000 owner, honestly i can’t believe this is the case. was looking at getting a h90 and hoping finally with the h90 that there might be a proper band delay algo but came across this and some others where those hopes are dashed… its pretty much a top3 effect effect from the rack units…

I’ll be honest my H90 has been unplugged for a while – I really wanted it for the Band Delays & had to find out the hard way it wasn’t included. they continue to release algorithms for it that don’t really do any anything for me. seems they are going for quantity of algorithms not quality – overall the H90 has been a disappointment as a studio effect. it can be quite noisy because of the USB, its funny I have an old midiverb 2 in its place in the rack – I like the $75 thing better I guess.
