        Can you adjust the input level on the H90? Ithink I could with my H9.

        I’m just managing to clip (red light flashes) on input 1. I’m wired pre/post and path 2 is fine. It’s just Path one that flashes the red light.

        Everything is set to instrument level.

        thanks

          Hello alexwong,

          Yes, levels on the H90 can be adjusted at the Program or Preset level; they can even be adjusted at the insert level. The key thing to do is make sure you’re using the correct operating level, intrument or line level, and this can be adjusted in the System Menu under I/O. May I recommend this video? https://youtu.be/5y14LwN9oAk?t=2403&si=Oh-ik0PKCQjwGMDJ

            Thanks – So given I have path one on relay bypass, I presume I can ignore the red flash but if I have an algorithm in path one, I can adjust the level on that to stop overloading an algorithm?

              Can you share your signal path? What do you have connected to the H90? You should never see a red Input LED. That means you’re clipping the signal.

                Guitar-> Source Audio Zio (analog pre-amp)  -> H90 in/out 1 -> Quad Cortex–> Send Effect loop stereo -> H90 In/out 3/4 –> return to Quad Cortex—> output.

                A simple solution would be to turn the Zio down a bit. It’s just set where I’ve had it for years with my presets. I just never knew it was clipping as I I never had my H9 pre quad cortex. It was just in the loop.

                Thanks

                  The best solution is to reduce the output level of the Source Audio Zio. That’s really it. If you want, you can set the H90 to line level to help with more headroom, but turning down is the best solution. It won’t affect whatever tone the Zio is imparting on your signal at all.

                    Got it. Thanks 🙂
