        Hi everyone,

I’ve recently acquired an H90 and am starting to set up some MIDI controls.

I’ll be running a wet/dry rig (external mixer) and would like to be able to toggle Kill Dry on and off using a MIDI footswitch. From what I’ve seen in the manual, it doesn’t look like this can be done at the global menu level, since global setup doesn’t accept CC messages—is that correct?

If so, it seems the alternative would be to control Kill Dry at the program or preset level. However, I couldn’t find clear instructions for this in the user guide either. Is it possible to control Kill Dry for an entire program, affecting both Preset A and B simultaneously?

How does this work in practice?

If it’s not possible, would I need two footswitches—one for each preset? And how would this be set up via CC messages? Is there a Kill Dry parameter for each preset, or would I simply send a CC message to set the MIX to 100% for each preset?

Thanks in advance for your help!

        Daniel

          Hello,

I’ve moved your question to a dedicated topic so it’s easier for users to find this information.

The Global controls accept CC messages, but there is no command for Kill Dry on/off.

Kill Dry has a global setting for Presets or Program. If you set Global Kill Dry to On, then your Progam will always have kill dry on if the parameter is set to Global. I’ve attached a screenshot that shows the Program kill dry set to global.

You can adjust the global Kill Dry setting by going to System > Global on the pedal: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.11.4/content/system-menu/global.html

Let me know if that clears it up for you.
