Used to work. H90 plugged into computer via USB. Computer recognized device. I tried running the software before and after the unit was powered up with no difference. The software shows the H90 begin registered and part of the control system, but it does not connect.

Sorry to hear you’re having issues. Please try deleting the H90 in H90 Control by clicking the “x” button on the device. Then, re-add the device and see if you are able to connect. Let me know what happens.

That worked, thanks, although I had to reboot the computer and the device twice. Whatever… it works, but now I have that squeal, which someone is looking into, in another thread. It’s the USB cable… plugged direct to computer or into a hub makes no difference.

Hello, I am having the same problem with my H90. The usbc connection used to work but now my Mac doesnt see it anymore. I’ve tried following the instructions on this thread and on other ones, like deleting the H90 from the software, etc. but it still doesnt connect.
What can I do?
Thank you in advance. -

Hello,
Below are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Make sure no other programs, such as a DAW (even if it is closed), are trying to connect to the H90.
- Make sure you are not using a USB hub.
- Make sure you are using the Eventide power supply.
- Make sure there are no other USB or MIDI devices attached to your computer.
- Try a different USB cable
- Try a different USB port.
- Make sure no other programs are running.
- Make sure antivirus or firewall programs are not interfering with the connection.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of H90 Control.
- Restart your computer.
- Try a different computer.

The H90 does not use the Eventide Device Manager app. You must use H90 Control to update software on your H90.
Please confirm you are using the correct app to update the H90.

True, actually the problem I have is trying to update a hardware using the Device Manager App. The hardware is the effect pedal PitchFactor Harmonizer.
I just acquired a used one from a friend and want to update it, to set all the presets and all as it comes by default.
Trying to leart how to use it.But I realize I am writing in the wrong support thread. I think I was tired with too many windows opened trying to make work the connection with the EDM (Eventride Device Manager). I want to update software, manage preset, restore. Understand the machine inside. But it do not allow to work properly.
I’ve try to follow the troubleshooting steps related in this thread for the H90, but not succes.
