Hi everyone, I’m using a H90 for my vocal in live situation.

My signal chain includes a preamp before H90, so I set the input and output of H90 both in Line Level.

I’m thinking of using TRS-XLR Male cable for the output and direct to PA( or maybe through stage box).

However, the manual said that H90’s output is ¼” MONO TS jack.

Is using a TRS-XLR Male cable for the output a good idea? Or should I use a DI instead?

        Thanks!

          Or just a Line Isolator?

            Hello,

The H90 does use unbalanced TS connectors for the input/output jacks. You should be fine if using a TRS > XLR cable for the output connected directly to a PA. You could also get a TS to XLR cable but that probably would not make a difference compared to the TRS > XLR cable.

A DI would be a good option if you run into any issues with the TRS > XLR cable.

I bring DIs in case there is a hum issue. Pro venues will probably also have some on hand.
