Hello all. I will be up front and say that I’m mostly a noob when it comes to all of this signal processing stuff, DAWs, Plug-ins etc… and really not very good at playing guitar but I am trying to learn (And have been for awhile), so please bear with me.
My current set up is to run my Guitars into my Boss Katana Mk.II Amp and from there into my PC and/or a Scarlett 2i2 Interface. Whenever I use a Plug-in of any kind, whether NDSP or otherwise, via the Reaper DAW I get a VERY noticeable delay from when I hit a string to when the sound comes out of the Computer Studio Speakers. If I run NDSP Plug-ins in their stand Alone form there is no Lag at all. I’ve tried fiddling with ASIO Add-ons but still can’t seem to get it to work right for any plugins, including the Eventide Plugins I recently acquired.
Does anyone have a simple step-by-step guide on how to fix this? I’d really like to be able to use my Plug-ins without any delay.
