This is an idea for Eventide.
I think I am not mistaken saying that the Dot9 effects are all the same hardware (or that is what it looks like).
It would be nice to have the option to load more algorithms on a Dot9 pedal from other Dot9s. For example, a Blackhole on a Ultratap.
Obviously this would require a purchasing fee for the software licence (a la H9 algorithms). But hopefully this will be cheaper that buying a new pedal.
One of the issues is that the knobs labels won’t match the new usage. For this Eventide can provide pedal templates like the ones with the settings that come with the pedal. Instead of cardboard, those could be of a more resistant material (plastic or metal).
