I’m sure it’s staring me in the face, but how do I change to a different preset on the Knife Drop pedal itself? H90 Control showed there are 16 onboard and it’s a snap to change preset via that and via MIDI. I just can’t figure out how to do it on the pedal itself. Please tell me what I’m missing!

        Thanks,

        Tony

          Hi Tony,

The only way to switch presets with Knife Drop is using an eternal aux switch, using MIDI, or the H90 Control app.

Normally, with our other dot9 series pedals, the right footswtich can be used to search through presets. But since Knife Drop was designed in collaboration with Third Man and Jack White, he requested the right footswitch be used to only go to his favorite preset, the first one.

Ha! Glad I was only missing what wasn’t there. Thanks for the quick reply, Joe.

Off to add a bank to my MIDI controller…

truthfully jack white  turns out is an a**ho7E.Why would they make this with  presets you can’t access  with the pedal …is he getting a kickback for them??? In addition the really BAD part on EVENTIDE’s end is that they do NOT tell the consumer that. Which btw is illegal deceptive advertising ….how you get sued over that…. I always respected this  company and their  products  , but no  more after this……..the original video I saw showed all the presets , and the variations with each one…that attracted  me to  buy it …..well seems that  video has  been pulled, and NONE of the other  ones show you the other presets  let alone  how to access them  , except  one which shoe that whatever it is with 2  buttons one for the presets , and the other to control the midi…and then a quick showing  of doing something ( not explained what exactly) with an H90 …neither tells you what they are  or even how to  buy them if you wanted…nor does  it say you can’t access the presets ANYWHERE….in in fact this is NOT A STANDALONE ITEM , but the advertising absolutely implies  it is…why is that  info being  hidden ?????? yes why are you willfully DEFRAUDING the  public about  this…So here’s the  result

.. I’m returning  it , also this thing  is useless in a live  situaTION  TO CHANGE ANYTHING ON THE  FLY , ALSO THE  ONLINE STORE  I BUY FROM  ,HAS ANREP. I SPOKE WITH  ..HE TOLD  ME YOUR  COMPANY WILL BE ALERTED TO THIS ISSUE , AND THEY ARE  nOT RECOMMENDING  THIS  PRODUCT…..it’s a fraud……..so answer that question …why did you put  out false advertising  tosell this as a standalone ..and just  not  mentioning  that IS LYING  …..the sin  of omission…..had I known that  i would never had wasted  my time buying it and  now wasting  my time to  return it.
