        Hello!

Downloaded demo and working thru a MIDI issue with it “taking over” Switchblade MIDI Port configurations, on a  Surface Pro 8 USB connected to M-Audio MiniSport 4×4, connected to a SwitchBlade GL using BladEdit, a H90, and Roland GR-33.  I did have everything working together the first time I set everything up.  Then after shutdown and coming back to it the troubles began.

I have to go thru a disable all USB devices in Device Manage, shutdown, restart, then enable the USB devices and then hope for the best that Music Mouse (MM) isn’t automatically assigned to the in and out port of the Switchblade within the BladEdit app.  I’ve tried each variation of sequencing the disable, enable, shutdown/restart, connect disconnect the USB cable to the MidiSport…..made sure MM was set to sound no MIDI.

So, I just now uninstalled the demo of MM and of course all’s well with the SwitchBlade and the rest of the devices connecting via MIDI ports because MM now does not show up as a choice….

I know I’ve got an ancient setup but I like it and after having tried MM and interfacing with the other units it sounded great and I was inspired!!

Right now it’s just too much of a hassle and inconsistent trying to set it up each time I shut down.

Anyway, thanks for anyone’s time and consideration reading and possibly responding.  Music Mouse is great!!!

With a little help and moral support from my friends I was able to download/buy the copy of Music Mouse and get it to work with my ancient setup.

Just wanted to maybe let someone else know it can be done.

It’s not a clean and easy process and a bit convoluted on shutdown and startup but well worth the effort.

          Case Closed!!
