         I know the diatonic shifter isn't meant to be used with chords. Are there any other presets/settings  I should try if I want to pitch shift chords up an octave? Or is it really not going to work well no matter what I try? I'm a little surprised that the Eventide shifters have a harder time with chords than, for example, my old Digitech IPS 33b.

           Try Quadravox. It handles simple chords quite well.

          Eventide Staff

            Harmodulator and Pitchflex will also handle chords better, especially doing octave shifts or perfect intervals, like a 5th.
