        About a month or so ago my PF started to make some random crackles and pops. After reading around I tried to do a firmware update, and I switched the bypass to relay/true bypass. This solves the issue for bypass but the noise is still there for the effect signal.

        Is there any other suggestions here?

          It is probably a bad memory chip or a faulty connection (bang the unit and see if it changes).

          If so, it will have to come in. Sorry.

            I have also unplugged the ribbon cable twice and that has helped for a short period of time.

              That does suggest it is a bad connection in or to the ribbon. You could try and have a tech replace the ribbon or send the unit in (sorry).
