PITCHFACTOR & Eventide Device Manager

Has the Device Manager still some utility?
I can do absolutely nothing with it:
I open it , and it shows me “Available Updates” (5.2.0 [6], but I have this firmware version already installed.

I can´t go further, to “Manage Device”, etc

Similar the “Eventide Direct Updater”, it shows me the available Updates (5.2.0 & 3.5.0).
Can´t it recognise that I already have the latest update installed, or, perhaps, my installation is corrupt?

(on the other hand, no problem with the H9 control so far…)

The only thing Eventide Device Manager does with Factor pedals is manage their software.  Since there can be issue that require the software to be re-installed, it allows you to “update” to all available software versions, including one that may be installed already.  Same for Eventide Direct Updater.

Largely, if H9 Control works for you and you don’t have any issues with the pedal, I wouldn’t concern yourself with EDM or EDU.
