play/bank mode switch issues, TF and PF

So I've noticed with both my TF and PF that if I use a dual or triple external switch, and have one button set to bank down and the other set to play/bank mode, the play/bank mode also moves a bank down.  Very frustrating, as having just these two features on the TF would take care of all of my pedal needs.  Almost same for PF (I like the third switch set to the tuner function).

anyone else run across this?

I don't see this. Have you tried more than one switch ? 

If so, please give embarassingly full details so we can replicate the problem.
