Can you use a midi footcontroller to call up a preset but the preset when it comes up is in the off position so you then can manually turn it on when needed? For example I hit my midi footcontroller on preset #4 which calls for preset #18-1 to come up on my Timefactor but I want the effect to just be on standby till its needed, hope that makes sense.
Only if you have one of the more sophisticated controllers which is capable of sending multiple messages with one press – for example, it would send a program change to load, followed by a CC to bypass. Most will not do this.
