I’m trying to power a Line6 DL4 with the PowerMax. The pedal requires 1200mA of current, so I’m using the 8800 parallel adapter plugged into two 9v outlets on the PowerMax. Connected to that is a type 3 (yellow) standard flex cable, which matches the barrel size and polarity of the DL4. I believe I’m doing everything right, but the pedal won’t power up with this configuration. The pedal does work otherwise, including with batteries, but as soon as I plug the cable from the PowerMax in, it turns off. What could be the problem here?

Hello, while I’m familiar with the DL4 I have never owned one. However I’m not familiar with the PowerMax. The first thing I question is what is the voltage requirement for the DL4 (9 or 18 Volts or more)? While you could be supplying a source capable of handling the current requirements you may not be supplying the proper voltage. What is the voltage at the plug being put into the DL4? That must be correct. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. Out of curiosity could you be more specific or provide a link to this PowerMax supply? Thanks.
