Hey,
So i bought an H90 in july and i love it but im trying to get an expression pedal set up with it and im having issues, im hoping i can get some help here.
I know the EV-5 is a cheap expression pedal and meant for keyboards but people say it works with the H90 and i wasn’t ready to buy a “real” expression pedal yet, I have an Ev-5 laying around that i have no issue working with my Boss RV-500 and other pedals, but on the H90 it seems to want to be both a volume AND control the parameter i set it to control.
So i set it up to control the delay time on my program and when it works, but the problem is no matter what i do it also controls the volume output, does anyone know how to stop this? It doesn’t matter what the pot on the pedal is set to, it wont stop control volume in addition to the chosen parameter and i have not ever set it to control output.
I should also add it by default controls volume when nothing is assigned to it, and then when you assign a parameter it controls BOTH the volume and the parameter, i want to stop it from controling the volume completely.
The pedal works, in calibration mode it reads 0-100 from heel to toe.
This pedal is only a stop gap as i plan on buying an Ev-30, but in the meantime can the EV-5 work the way i intend to? or is it a lost cause?
Thank you in advance
