Hello! I have been using the H90 for bass processing in a band for almost 8 months now.
I have recently added two things: a dry monitor output for the drummer, so he can better hear the attack without the effects, and a Korg Minilogue synth for some additional drones / texture.
Of course the H90 handles both of these scenarios easily with insert routing! I use Input 1 for the bass and Insert 1 input at 50% mix for the Minilogue (which allows both inputs to be processed and output in stereo). I use Insert 2 output at 50% mix for the monitor positioned as a bypass which makes it send just the dry bass.
For Insert 1 I have a few placement options which allow the Minilogue to pass through both algorithms like the bass, or I can bypass the first or both algorithms for the Minilogue by positioning insert 1 in different places. Awesome!
My request is this: The bass in input 1 must always go through both algorithms. There is a way in parallel routing mode to assign the bass to one algorithm and the Minilogue to the other algorithm by dialing the mix on the insert to 100%. That’s cool. However, there’s no way for me to build a routing which has the Minilogue going through both algorithms but the bass going through only one (or neither). It would be really cool to be able to change where the main inputs land in the routing!
Thanks for considering, and thanks for already building an amazingly flexible and powerful product.
