        Is it possible to send midi tap tempo with the H9 and a usb cable or do you need a midi interface connecting to midi out port?

          Yes it is possible. Just check that MIDI OUT on your H9 is on "XMIT" and MIDI CLOCK OUT "ON".
          You have your Master Clock via USB! But don't forget to fix your DAW with MIDI prefs to recognize H9 as MIDI interface 🙂
