Tap Tempo switch for “Fast/Slow” rotary speed control?

Is it possible to assign the Tap Tempo switch to control Fast/Slow speed control found on Rotary, Phase presets, etc.? If so, how is it done???

Yes, these are called Performance Parameters and are available to assign to the footswitches in Perform Mode. If your Rotary Preset is loaded on Preset A, press the Perform button to enter Perform mode, and press the A LED to cycle through the Performance Parameters until you find the Speed parameter.

I can’t find anything regarding a “performance knob” on my H-9. How do I access it?

I had a feeling you might’ve been referencing an H9 in your original post, but you didn’t specify.  No, it is not possible.  You will need to access those parameters with an Aux switch, over MIDI, or from H9 Control.
