Temperance Lite Will Not Appear in DAW

I have purchased and successfully installed two Eventde plugins. The 3rd one, Temperance Lite does not show in the DAW and I’ve tried everything. Uninstalled, re-installed, Registered License, double-checked with iLok, checked (and found it in) Plugins folder.

In Ableton Lite:  After successfully installing and registering Eventide Plugins, there they were – but no Temperance Lite.

Opened up Preferences / Options, clicked on Plugin Tab, Re-scanned

Still no Temperance Lite. It’s like a phantom plugin, I must be overlooking something simple???

Sorry to hear you’re having issues. It sounds like you’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps.

In Live, please try Option/Alt-click “Rescan” to force a deep rescan. The deep rescan is not the same as just clicking rescan and this will usually resolve the issue in Live.

If that doesn’t work, please email support@eventideaudio.com and we can help you further there.

No solution. Just add my voice. Buggy, or convoluted install. Not appearing in Studio One for me either, and not showing as a registered plugin on your site, despite say Plugin is already registered. My iLok is going nowhere, when it appears it only shows my Shimmerverb plugin.

I just looked up your account and your new Temperance Lite license was not registered to the same iLok account as your ShimmerVerb. I just switched the Temperance Lite over to the other iLok account, please try activating it again and let me know what happens.

Hi; I have the same problem. I´ve tried everything suggested above, but Temperance Lite does not show up in iLok or Ableton. It is registered with Eventide. Very frustrating. Please advise …

If it’s not showing up in iLok, that’s a problem (but a small one). Try this: Go back into your Eventide dashboard. On the “My Plugins” tab make sure Temperance Lite appears there. Then double-check that your iLok name is entered correctly in the “iLok Account” box … click the little box that says “Remember iLok” and Submit.

Even if everything looks good, go ahead and do it again, resubmit, THEN …

Reinstall the plugin

Now go into Ableton and Rescan plugins, but do a DEEP SCAN.

Here’s how to do a Deep Scan in Ableton Live:  Hold down the ALT Key while clicking Rescan.

I have the same problem. Despite installing the plug-in several times in my DAW, Reaper doesn’t recognize it. I’ve activated the product, but I don’t see it in the VST list.
