Thoughts on Mixing Link Mute

Hello,

Is it true that when I set the Mix switch to Dry, only the FX Loop footswitch (off) mutes all outputs (DI/Line, Amp, Headphones)?

Before I buy the ev missing link I want to know:

Can I mute all outputs with the footswitch by using

(a) Switch to FX only

or

(b) Switch to mix and set then mix-knob to zero?

The footswitch only engages the FX loop. It does not mute all outputs. MixingLink does not have a “dry-only” setting.

thank you for the reply. However, a last question;: What happens if I use the EML with a microphone in (no inst in) and

scenario 1: footswitch „off“ and mix mode „fx only“

scenario 2: footswitch „off“ and mix mode „mix“ and mix knob counterwise to minimum?

You will hear the audio from the mic.
