Sorry you’re having issues, but I don’t know what’s going on. Are you using the factory power supply?

yep. It was working 10 mins before this. I attempted a firmware update and when it rebooted this is what came up.

Try the update again. If you do not have any custom presets you’re scared to lose, conduct a factory reset after that by powering up the TimeFactor while simultaneously pressing the Right footswitch and the Encoder until CLEAR is displayed.

yea – it won’t even let me do that. When I plug the cord back into the unit, the lights come on and the unit automatically powers down.

Clearly something went amiss during the firmware update.

I would wait for support. But try this:

• Download and install the Direct Updater for your system: https://www.eventideaudio.com/downloads/?product=TimeFactor
• Connect your pedal to your computer via USB
• Turn the pedal on while holding down the middle footswitch until the display says UPDATE.
• Open the Direct Updater application (NOT EDM). It will automatically scan for any devices. Once it detects your pedal, click OK.
• Whether the application shows the serial number of your pedal or it says INVALID, it will show you the available firmware updates regardless.
• Choose the first option (5.2.0[6]) to highlight it in blue and click “Install Update.”
• After about 5 minutes, the pedal should be updated.
