After purchasing the plug in and going thru the steps Successfully . Ultra Channel is nowhere to be found in ILOK. And if I select it in Pro Tools it tells me I need to purchase. Money has already been Withdrawn from my account. Been recording for 14 years , A professional vocalist with 38 years experience . So not the 1st Plug in I have purchased. I have close to a 1000. But I haven’t bought one in a while and I’M GETTING OLD! So maybe I forgot a critical step. I figured the collective knowledge that exists in this forum should no doubt be able to guide me before I go bother the fine folks at the Eventide Support Division. I do also run Luna and Studio One. Should I try it in one of those. When I went to my Main Drive then audio, then plugins the word Eventide is sitting there at the top of the list . Only in the VST3 column . And I know when I ran the installer I didn’t uncheck any boxes when the installer asked for the Format. All the boxes were already checked as far as AAX, Component, VST , VST 3 ETC….. I’m in the middle of tracking and using my WA-47 , needs a little bit of help to get to the sound I want. I always sound better when I like the mic sound in my headphones. Thanks in advance.

I have LUNA and also Ultrachannel.
It can be confusing. If I remember correctly, after going to the Eventide site and downloading the Ultrachannel software, you then start up LUNA. in LUNA you go to the “New Plugins” area and let it scan the new plugin.
THEN open a project in Luna and select a channel to run Ultrachannel. At that time, I believe you will get a dialog to authorize the new plugin. It will do the iLOK portion of the authorization at that time. Just keep clicking through the questions, and it goes online to make sure that Eventide is telling iLOK to let you run the plugin. You see a couple of online authorizations take place, and then you’re good to go. Until you do that, you won’t see Ultrachannel in your iLOK account.
Also, I believe you have an authorization code that comes from following the instructions you get in the email from Eventide. That email has a link to the download software area and also an Authroization code area. You may have to have a window open to copy/paste the code from that locations when you are opening the plugin for the first time in LUNA.
It’s kind of a convoluted path, but if you keep track of the links to Eventide and get the plugin into your computer with the Eventide Authorization code, that will enable the iLOK portion of the mystery sequence.
