Temperanceâ„¢ Pro
World’s Most Musical Reverb
A New Era of Reverb
Temperance Pro speaks the language of music, operating on the 12-note chromatic scale to determine which notes bloom or fade within space. Its expanded control set shapes musical texture, directs movement, and unlocks 29 world-class spaces built entirely on modal technology.
Design Ambiance with Scientific Precision and Musical Intent
Shape the Musical Texture
Temper and Range controls dial in the musicality of the reverb, adjusting the amount of emphasis or de-emphasis applied to the selected notes, and choosing which octaves are tempered.
Target and Note Width expand on these, providing advanced control over tempering for a broader range of sounds in both studio creation and live performance settings.
Target Select
Target the moment and choose when tempering happens.
Early
At the reverb onset

Late
During the reverb tail

All
Both onset and tail

World Class Modal Spaces
Temperance Pro includes 29 spaces that sound exceptional on their own. Intimate rooms, grand halls, lush mechanical reverbs, and for the first time, experimental synthetic spaces. Algorithmic and convolution reverbs have been faithfully transformed into the modal domain using our patented machine learning technology.
The collection includes authentic recreations of legendary spaces, including a handful designed by acoustics pioneer Ralph Kessler, alongside Eventide’s original creations built specifically to showcase the new modal reverb technology.

Unique Modal Controls
The Mix, Decay, and Size controls (left) provide familiar tools for fine-tuning space.
Temperance Pro expands on these with modal features that shape the ambiance in a unique way, with Density, Position and Offset controls (right).

Adjusts the balance between early and late reflections to change the perceived listening distance from the source.
Reduces density for a more fragmented lo-fi sound. At 100%, all modes in the space are active.
Offsets all mode frequencies by up to ±500Hz for unique tonal shifts.
Adjusts the balance between the dry and wet signals at the output.
Adjusts the overall decay time of the reverb. This is a multiplier applied to the base modal response selected and scales the decay time accordingly.
Scales the size of the currently selected modal response by adjusting the frequencies and decay times of the modes. Affects reverb decay length and RT60 will be adjusted accordingly.
Direct Musical Movement
Determine which notes drive the motion using the Note Selection panels, featuring Manual, Sequence, and MIDI modes.
- Manual
- Sequence
- MIDI

Manual Mode
Build custom note selections with one click using a note-roll style input. Use the Choose Scale dropdown to quickly find and select chords, scales, modes, or even intervals.

Sequence Mode
Sequence mode turns reverb into a compositional tool. Program note changes to follow chord progressions, scales, or intervals for dynamic musical results.

MIDI Mode
Take command with MIDI mode. Connect a MIDI device to select notes in real-time, offering an immediate, tactile way to work with Temperance Pro.

120+ Presets
Temperance Pro features a wide collection of expertly crafted presets, designed to inspire across instruments, genres, and workflows.

The Science of Modal Reverb
Imagine a room with thousands of tuning forks, each a different size and tuned to a specific frequency across the audio range. Temperance Pro lets you control the loudness and decay of each fork, modeling any reverberant space as thousands of independent, real-time adjustable resonators. This modal approach breaks free from traditional reverb limits, letting you craft spaces that feel musically intentional rather than incidental.
Temperance Pro responds to the language of music itself, delivering studio-ready ambiance with uncompromising control and character.

With SplitEQ you can hear and even see your sound in new ways. Our Structural approach mimics the way in which we interpret sound and our spectrum display offers an inside look into what you’re hearing. Solo only the transients, or a single band, or only the transients on a single band. Use the real-time spectrum analyzer to track down problematic resonances or transients by displaying the tonal and transient streams separately. SplitEQ adds a new dimension to your trouble-shooting toolkit.
Our team took all the knowledge they had about recording, threw it out the window, then headed down to the studio to lay down some badly recorded tracks. Double-headed kick drum with no port? Check. Ill-advised mic placement on snare? Check. Why? To prove that SplitEQ works well on a wide range of sonically challenged material. We’ve created an entire folder of presets for those less-than-perfect recordings.
SplitEQ comes with a Factory Library of over 150 presets to solve many of today’s standard corrective and complex mixing problems in a cleaner and faster way. The presets are designed to Enhance, Repair, Rebalance, and Widen various instruments including drums, vocals, guitar, and more. A/B comparison and Undo/Redo make it easy to explore ideas without losing where you started.
Temperance Pro is covered by the United States Patent No. 11,043,203 & 11,361,742
