         Hi,

my Eventide H8000FW shows this error message after launching:

"A bus error has occurred (E12)

        Program: 010F52

        Data: FFE0061A

Please write these down and reboot".

When rebooting the same message appears again…:-(

I also tried out pressing "8" when booting, but I don't get rid of the message above and can't work with my H8000FW at the moment…:-(

        Please help.

        Cheers, Tobias

Maybe you have a faulty card that the H-8000FW cannot access? I remember a similar message about 3-4 months ago.

           Hi Tobias

bus errors can happen for many different reasons. You shouldn't worry about them unless they are very, very frequent. Having the unit on a clean and stable power feed is a good thing.

You can now try to force unloading the current preset. Reboot the unit and press & hold the PROGRAM key *when* you read H8000FW on the display. This will lead you to a prompt to loose the current preset and load mute. Choose YES.

          Please let me know….

          best

I didn't use a card. So it has to be another problem…

Thanks for the advice. I tried to force unloading the preset the way you described (including the "Yes" option which I selected) – but this leads to the same bus error message again and I'm still lost is this dead cycle…:-(
