      Hello,

yesterday i tried to organised my patches in the H8000Fw. I copied patches form one program number to another and removed the original patch. After doing that, i realized, that my internal space is shrinking from 200k to 45k. Now i have the same counts of patches but 150k less internal space.

      The firmware is 5.6.b2

Not aware of any problems here. My guess is that while you think you removed the original, you didn't, and you have two copies of each preset.

One approach might be to copy everything to a CF card, erase all the user presets (if necessary, reformat internal), and then copy back.

oh yes, you might have right. In most cases i saved a modification of a factory patch. Sorry, i dont know what i thought as i wrote this poll.

But its possible to unlock the factory patches to overwrite them?

You can't overwrite the factory patches. But, they are not in the same space, (unless copied) so they should not be part of your problem.
