        My Eclipse is in my rack, so I can't change programs without lying on the floor. Is the FS-6 suitable for this task or should I get a different footswitch? I want + and -, not just one way.

          Yes, it is suitable. You could even use two mono cables OR one stereo cable.

            I tried it with a single stereo/TRS cable from the middle TRS socket on the FS-6 to PEDAL2 jack on the Eclipse. I set up EXT1 as PEDAL2 being the source. I then set up PGM+ as PEDAL2, and the same with PGM-. I also tried it with PGM+ using EXT1 and PGM- with EXT2 (so the source for both EXT's is PEDAL2. I'm sure this is wrong. I want, if possible, to use PEDAL2 for switching presets up and down, whilst using PEDAL1 for modulating parameters via my FV500L expression pedal.

              Disregard previous comment – I meant to choose ring2 for 1 direction, tip2 for the other. Embarrassed
