Generally speaking FactorLib doesn't work with any Factor pedals that have a v5 release installed on them. This has nothing to do with your updating problems. We've just decided that we don't want to continue to support FactorLib going forward so we can concentrate our efforts on H9 Control. If there's a specific feature you used to use in FactorLib and you can't figure out how to do it in H9 Control, let us know…  If H9 Control supports it, we'll explain how;  if it doesn't support it, we'll consider adding it.
