This is true.  The H9 doesn’t send power to midi devices.  This was an oversight actually that we now regret, but that’s how it works.

I guess the next version will have this feature.  I don’t know for sure but it’s probably not likely that this could be fixed with a firmware upgrade since it’s probably a mechancal thing.
