As an h9k owner trying to determine whether I should go ahead with this upgrade, I can’t justify pulling the trigger until I know what I’m getting. By not revealing the processor the new hardware uses, I’m suspicious that gen2 was born to address logistical issues (old chip EOL?) rather than improve performance. Sure, a new chip will mostlikely improve performance, but how much? I can’t even find out how much more powerful gen2 is vs gen1. AFAICT revealing the part numbers for these chips would allow your customers to make an informed decision about what they’re getting, without hurting Eventide in some way.

Hopefully someone that does purchase the upgrade can upload a high res image of the processor from one of the SOMs so we can figure out how much more compute we can expect from this upgrade.
