I can’t quite get the H90 to do a really choppy, stuttering trem. The kind with complete silence between each repeat. Usually on other applications I just change it to square wave, increase the depth, and have the signal set to fully wet, but I can’t seem to accomplish that here (there doesn’t seem to be a mix or dry/wet knob…). Im trying it with a synth in the first slot and I can’t get the tremolo in the second slot to either be choppy enough, plus when I play a synth note it kind of rings out first and then the tremolo kicks in.

I’ve experimented with tremolo pan and Harmadillo. I can get sort of in the ballpark, but not really what I’m looking for. I also am not an expert with this thing so any help would be much appreciated. Could someone recommend the algo and what settings to use for some really hard chop?

A couple things to try below:

Harmadillo: Set everything to 0, Set X over to min or max value, Depth 100, set Shape to one of the pulse options. Once you have a sound you like start adjusting the other parameters to find some cool sounds.

TremoloPan: Depth at max value, Shape set to square, Spread set to 0.

Undulator: Intensity and Depth at max value and Shape set to square.

You may have luck with Aggravate which has a great Pump control but there will always be a bit of distortion added.
